Precautions for Use BUFFERIN Luna J (TABLETS)

BUFFERIN Luna J is a Pain reliever fever reducer. The pain relieving, fever reducing ingredient in this product is acetaminophen. When consulting a doctor, dentist, pharmacist or registered seller about this product, specify that the product you are asking about contains acetaminophen. Chewable tablets that can be taken without water and are suitable for use by pre-teens and teenagers (ages 7 and up). Relief from headaches and menstrual pain, suitable for teens and children 7 and up.
(Failure to comply with these instructions increases the likelihood of current symptoms worsening, side effects occurring, and other potentially serious risks)
Things You Must Not Do
- Do not use this product if you(1) Have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients
(2) Have ever had an asthma attack after using this product, any other pain reliever/fever reducer, or a cold medicine
- Do not take any of the following pharmaceuticals while using this productOther pain relievers/fever reducers, cold medicines, sedatives
- Do not consume alcohol before or after taking this product
- Do not use this product continuously for extended periods
Seek Advice
1. Ask a doctor, dentist, pharmacist or registered seller before use if you are
(1) Currently receiving treatment from a doctor or dentist
(2) Pregnant or suspect you may be pregnant
(3) Elderly
(4) Have ever shown allergic symptoms when taking a drug or medicine
(5) Have been diagnosed with any of the following conditions: heart disease; kidney disease; liver disease; stomach or duodenal ulcer

Effects
(1) Pain relieving effect on menstrual pain, headache, back pain, pain due to stiff shoulders, muscle pain, joint pain, pain from bruising, pain from bone fractures, pain from sprains, toothache, pain after tooth extraction, neuralgia, earache, pain from trauma and sore throat.
(2) Reducing effect on chills and fevers.
Usage / Dosage
Avoid taking on an empty stomach. Chew or dissolve in the mouth.
Wait at least four hours between doses.
15 years old and up : 3 Tablets (Up to 3 times in a day)
11 to 14 years old : 2 Tablets (Up to 3 times in a day)
7 to 10 years old : 1 Tablet (Up to 3 times in a day)
Under 7 years old : Do not take this medicine.
Usage and Dosage Warnings
(1) For administration to children under the supervision and guidance or a guardian or caretaker. When given to children in advance for later use when away from direct supervision, provide thorough instruction on correct usage and dosage ahead of time.
(2) Use only as directed.
(3) To remove the tablets from the package: As shown in the illustration on the right, press firmly with a fingertip on the protruding bubble in the clear plastic sheet that contains the tablet, pushing the tablet through the foil backing and out (swallowing the product without first removing it from the package can lead to injury, such as damage to the esophageal membrane).
Storage and Handling
(1) Store out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container or package (may lead to incorrect use or affect product quality).
(4) Do not use after the use-by date indicated on the package.
(5) Avoid damaging the foil protecting tablets you are not planning to use immediately, as exposure can affect product quality.
